Ever had the puke reaction to an upcoming sermon series at church?
When I saw previews of “Love, Dates, and Heartbreaks” @northpointcommunitychurch I kid you not, I almost didn’t come back to church for six weeks. I’m over five-years post-marriage apocalypse and I thought I had zero interest in a series about any of that nonsense.
Turns out, I’m just a jaded idiot.
Thankfully, @andy_stanley is not and he delivered an incredible series.
I don’t care what your relationship status is, what you wish it was, or what kind of horrible crud has gone on in your attempts at finding, keeping, or salvaging love. This series is for you.
This is the most truth about relationships I’ve ever heard from the pulpit. There are nuggets I wish I’d heard from a pulpit somewhere about 20 years ago. The final message in the series is Biblical salve and love for recovering from the inevitable heartbreak that we’ve all got at this point in life.
I officially repent for sort of puking in my mouth when I heard about the series. It is amazing and I can guarantee you will not throw up at any point.
