There is something comfortable about definitive reality. Those black and white situations where the difference between our choices and circumstances are distinct. Paths appear clearer, answers seems easier to find, and absolute confidence in the future seems a given.
But, in a world broken by sin, we humans aren’t capable of living in the black and white. We live in a constant transition among the shades of gray that happen when life is complicated, circumstances aren’t ideal, and people do what people have done since the Garden. We sin. Black and white lines are blurred and the gray appears.
The gray spaces make grace an absolute necessity. And in navigating those gray spaces, we find the truth of how much Christ loves us and the capacity He gives us to love others.
Grace for the Gray Spaces is a humble effort to acknowledge the complications of life with a Christ-centered worldview.
About Me
Ever wake up and find yourself in a place you never imagined you’d be, wondering where you’d taken the wrong turn that brought you feeling further from Christ that you thought possible? Yeah, me too. These are my thoughts on life as I realize I was never that far flung to begin with.
I’m a single mom of two blessings, (almost) life-long lover of Christ, and wisecracks are my love language.
