Divorce as a Christian
Your marriage is ending. I don't know how you got here - and if you're like me, you may also find yourself wondering that from time to time - but the reality is you're here.
My prayer for you is that, first and foremost, you know you have not wandered into territory that is "too far" for Jesus to go. He's here. He sees you. He loves you. And he cares deeply for you.
Second, I want you to know you're not alone. If you are a person of faith - or you used to be...or want to be - it may feel even more like this is a road only you are walking. I'm here to let you know that's not true. There are plenty of Jesus-loving people who have found themselves where you are.
Last, I want you to know this is not the dead-end of your journey and it is not the last word on your life. You can recover from this, and you can honor Christ in the way you choose to walk this road.
I've walked the road you're on, and while we may have different terrain at times, I bet there's a lot of similarity to our paths, too. I pray that some of my own experience may be encouraging to you.
