Embracing Imperfection
Admittedly, this seems like a weird topic for when I am knee deep in back to school preparations.
But, this school year I’m committed to adjusting my aim. The purpose of school for my kids - and daily life for me - is not to achieve perfection, but rather to grow - growth toward Jesus, in relationship with others, and individually as we continue to become the people He created us to be.
A growth mindset is not a perfectionist mindset. The two are entirely different trajectories, and that's why my aim from the beginning matters.
This series is all about finding our aim, encouragement for loving ourselves, and thoughts on how we can grow. I hope you'll join the conversation!
