“How to Get Good With Money” on Smart Money Mamas – This was my first time listening to Smart Money Mamas and I’ll be back for sure. Chelsea has a great interview style, and in this episode her guest, Tiffany Aliche shares her thoughts on financial wholeness vs financial freedom. Much of it you know, and may be doing. But it is good to be reminded, and Tiffany and Chelsea both shared several things that stuck with me. This was a good use of time on a Saturday walk.
“Therapy and Theology: Good Guilt vs. Destructive Shame” on the Proverbs 31 Podcast – Lysa, Joel, and Jim are back and this is a fantastic discussion. They make similar points that I’ve heard from Brene Brown on the importance of knowing the distinction between shame and guilt, but with a deeper theological perspective. This one is really, really good.
“Three Questions to Ask When Faith Feels Impossible” on the Proverbs 31 Podcast – Nicki Koziarz is the guest on this one and she does a great job discussing what to do when life circumstances challenge our faith. This was a great, raw discussion.
Bible Study
“How Do I Get Through This? Pressing On When You Want to Turn Back, Give Up, or Walk Away” from First Five at Proverbs 31 – I am a huge fan of the First Five Bible studies from Proverbs 31. A new one kicked off last week, and one week in I can tell you it is a great one. You still have time to get caught up, so jump on board if you’re looking for a new Bible study.
