Song
Hold On To Me by Lauren Daigle – This may just be my mantra to push through the rest of this pandemic season. Finally new music from Lauren Daigle and it is just what my “tired of all this mess” self needs right now. Put it on replay, friends.
Podcast
The Small Group Podcast – Ok, so this one is brand new. Which makes it a risky recommendation. BUT, one episode and relatively lengthy discussion in Instagram comments later, I am impressed. The concept is two friends discuss all the things about faith and life…that you’d never discuss in your church small group. If you’re laughing and intrigued right now, you’re my kind of person. I already have these friends in my life where we have these discussions in what feels like protected space. The first episode about the buzzwords we should kill in Christian culture felt like an extension of the very conversations I have with my real life friends. I think this one has potential, so check it out.
Cleaning Supplies
Microfiber Spray Mop – I jumped on the @cleanmama bandwagon about three weeks ago and have found that the right tools really do make cleaning easier. And this mop…I cannot stop evangelizing on its behalf. Turns out microfiber is much better at dusting hardwood floors, and making my own cleaning solution is also better, easier, and cheaper. I love this mop so much, my kids are starting to be jealous of it because they hear about how awesome it is each time I mop. Which is more frequent because of my love for this device. That alone is a miracle and a win in my book.
