“Five Fingers Crush The Land” from Throughline – I love the Throughline podcast from NPR, with their focus on tracing back the beginnings of things in our lives today that seem unconnected, but in reality are very closely connected…sometimes over decades. This episode looks at an area of the world I’ve only recently become aware of. The Uyghur people are an ethnic minority in China and have been subject to brutal suppression by their government. This is a look back decades at where the seeds for today’s situation were planted.
“Erin Port: On Simple Purposeful Living” on Where Faith Grows – As this school year as ended, my soul has cried for simplicity. This was a good reminder at the various ways we can do that in day to day life. And a reminder of what we’re really called to live out each day.
